HOW TO
Posting on RezList is really pretty simple:
- Click "Post Ad" near the top left of the screen.
- You will need to then select the area in which you go to church (Wheaton area, Parkside, or Chicago). Wheaton is the default setting.
- Select the category in which your need fits
- I Need This
- I Have That
- I Want to Borrow Those
- Job Openings
- Select the sub-category in which your need fits. For example, the subcategories for "I Need This" are
- Items
- Projects
- Misc
- RezMen
- Meals
- Write a brief, descriptive title for your post (i.e., "Bicycle Needed").
- Enter the location of any items you're getting rid of, or the location of the job you need help with, etc.
- Describe your item/need according to the RezList Guidelines.
- Enter your email address (This will not be made public. An anonymous email address will be generated by which people will contact you.
- Enter the security code shown in the box towards the bottom of the page. This is to weed out any spam.
- Upload a photo of an item you're getting rid of if you?d like.
- Click "I agree" to the usage guidelines at the bottom of the post.
- And "Post Now"!
You're all set!! As these are mediated posts, they do not appear on the site immediately. Please allow 24 hours for your post to appear.
We strongly recommend anonymity in the initial contacting process?beyond that, it?s up to you. If you feel uncomfortable with someone who has contacted you, make sure to contact us at RezList@churchrez.org
